What is your primary product or service?
Although we provide vacations to world-wide destinations, we specialize in travel to the South Pacific.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I began in the dive travel industry with a focus on Australia, and have gradually expanded my portfolio to include destinations and activities that I am personally passionate about. Activities which include hiking, horseback riding, and family vacations. Destinations which include Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, and more.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Great Expeditions prides itself on the peronalized service and customized itineraries that we provide. We are passionate about matching clients with the perfect destination suited to their interests and style of travel. Unlike many businesses in the industry, we do not create cookie-cutter itineraries even if it sacrifices efficiency.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, and no plans to expand. We are at a size that allows us to provide personalized, boutique-style service; setting us apart from the Expedias and Travelocities of the world.
